Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time Veterinary Oncologist to deliver advanced cancer care within a multidisciplinary specialty setting. This opportunity is well suited to a board-certified or residency-trained clinician who values thoughtful case planning, compassionate communication, and close cooperation with referring veterinarians and other specialty services.
The position provides access to digital radiography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, therapeutic and surgical lasers, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities. You will have the clinical freedom and technical resources needed to evaluate complex cases, develop individualized treatment plans, and support patients and owners throughout every stage of care.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised veterinary qualification.
- Board certification in oncology or completion of an approved oncology residency.
- Valid New York veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
- Ability to remain composed and decisive when handling medically complex cases.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a respectful and compassionate approach to clients and colleagues.
