Mixed Animal Vet Surgeon Job, Windermere, Cumbria, England

Job Description: Our client is seeking a Mixed Animal Vet to join a friendly and supportive team based in Windermere, offering a varied caseload across small animals, farm animals, and equine work. This role provides the opportunity to develop a broad skillset while working in a collaborative clinical environment with strong support from experienced colleagues.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian looking for flexibility and variety, whether experienced or keen to expand their mixed practice exposure. You will benefit from a positive team culture, modern facilities, and the chance to shape your clinical interests while enjoying a balanced workload.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a mixed caseload across companion animals, farm, and equine  
  • Providing preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment planning  
  • Participating in a shared out-of-hours rota  
  • Working closely with the team to ensure high clinical standards  
  • Building strong client relationships across a varied client base  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in the UK  
  • Interest or experience in mixed animal practice  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team  
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
