Job Description: Our client is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-structured clinical environment offering genuine flexibility across farm and small animal work. This role can be tailored to suit a balanced 50:50 caseload or a mixed position with a stronger small animal focus, depending on individual preference and experience.
The position provides exposure to both first- and second-opinion work, allowing clinicians to build confidence across disciplines while being supported by an experienced veterinary and support team. The clinical setup encourages progression, hands-on learning, and the opportunity to take ownership of cases as skills develop.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing consultations across companion animal and farm caseloads
- Delivering herd health and fertility services to agricultural clients
- Performing routine and advanced small animal procedures
- Participating in an out-of-hours rota as part of a shared team system
- Contributing to collaborative case discussions and clinical planning
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree recognised for practice in Northern Ireland
- Registration or eligibility with the relevant veterinary authority
- Interest or experience in mixed animal veterinary work
- Ability to adapt across different clinical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Package:
- Flexible role structure to support mixed or small animal bias
- Access to advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment
- Funded professional development with annual CPD allowance
- Encouragement and support for certificate study
- Professional memberships and indemnity cover included
- Structured on-call rota with shared responsibilities
- Generous annual leave entitlement including bank holidays
- Clear pathways for clinical and leadership progression
- Supportive team culture with regular performance reviews
