Job Description: Our client is seeking two experienced Mixed Animal Vets to join a progressive small animal and farm animal team in Drumahoe. This opportunity is suited to confident mixed practitioners who enjoy variety across companion animal medicine, farm animal work, and the chance to develop within a structured clinical environment.
The role offers exposure to a broad caseload, including small animal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, herd health, fertility management, consultancy, sick calls, sheep, beef, suckler herds, equine cases, and camelids. With excellent facilities, a large veterinary team, full support staff, and scope for leadership responsibilities, this position provides a strong platform for long-term progression.
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon or eligibility to register
- Strong mixed animal experience across small animal and farm animal caseloads
- Confidence with farm work, herd health, fertility, consultancy, and routine clinical calls
- Interest in small animal medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, or wider mixed practice development
- Collaborative approach with enthusiasm for teamwork, client care, and career progression
Package:
- Salary up to £75,000 pro rata, dependent on experience and leadership responsibilities
- Full-time position within a structured mixed animal team

- OOH rota of 1 in 4 with support from experienced colleagues
