Job Description: Our client is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established rural practice in Quirindi, New South Wales. This role offers a true mixed caseload, with companion animals, cattle work, and some exposure to other species.
The position is open to veterinarians at any experience level, from new or recent graduates through to experienced mixed animal vets. You will be supported by a skilled nursing team, strong clinical equipment, and a welcoming rural community with a loyal client base.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload across companion animals, cattle, and other species
- Providing consultations, diagnostics, treatment plans, and routine procedures
- Supporting clients across Quirindi and the surrounding rural region
- Participating in a shared afterhours roster with call filtering support
- Working closely with the veterinary and nursing team to deliver practical patient care
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree recognised in Australia
- Eligibility to practise as a veterinarian in New South Wales
- New graduates, recent graduates, and experienced vets welcome
- Interest in mixed animal practice and rural veterinary care
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
