The role offers a broad clinical mix encompassing preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and equine medicine, supported by 30-minute appointments and an experienced veterinary team. This opportunity would suit either a new graduate seeking structured clinical guidance or an experienced veterinarian with a genuine interest in developing their equine skills, with approximately one on-call commitment each month.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver preventative and medical care across a varied companion animal and equine caseload
- Undertake diagnostic investigations, routine surgery, and dental procedures
- Provide clear guidance to owners regarding treatment plans and ongoing patient care
- Participate in the approximately once-monthly on-call rota
- Coordinate with veterinary colleagues and support staff to maintain consistent standards of care
