Mixed Animal Associate Veterinarian Job, Kyabram, Victoria, Australia

Job Description: Our client is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join a progressive rural practice with a strong dairy focus and a highly supportive clinical team. This role is open to new graduates, recent graduates, and experienced veterinarians who are keen to develop within a varied mixed animal environment.

The caseload is approximately 50–60% dairy, alongside companion animal, equine, and other large animal work. You will be based in a modern purpose-built clinic with strong nursing support, quality equipment, regular clinical meetings, and excellent mentoring available.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing dairy, production animal, equine, and companion animal cases
  • Supporting preventative health programs and practical on-farm outcomes
  • Carrying out consultations, diagnostics, treatment plans, and routine procedures
  • Working with experienced vets and nurses across clinic and farm work
  • Participating in a shared on-call and Saturday morning roster

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree recognised in Australia
  • Eligibility to practise as a veterinarian in Victoria
  • New graduates, recent graduates, and experienced vets welcome
  • Interest in dairy or mixed practice highly regarded
  • Strong client service skills and willingness to continue developing clinically
