Job Description: Our client is seeking a versatile Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join a progressive rural practice offering both companion and production animal services. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing consultations and treatment for companion animals in clinic
- Supporting farm clients with herd health and livestock care
- Performing routine surgeries and assisting with more complex procedures
- Managing a varied caseload across both small and large animals
- Working closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications Needed:
- Eligible for veterinary registration in New Zealand
- Experience or interest in mixed animal practice
- Confidence in both clinical and field-based work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Adaptability and willingness to manage a varied workload
