In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide veterinary care across a varied dairy and mixed animal caseload
- Support farmers with herd health, preventative medicine and day-to-day clinical requirements
- Manage routine and more involved production animal cases with appropriate support from colleagues
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships with farming clients throughout the local community
- Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary team during busy and seasonal periods
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree with eligibility to practise in New Zealand
- Confidence or a strong interest in dairy and production animal veterinary medicine
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative rural team
- Strong communication skills and an approachable manner with farming clients
- Commitment to delivering practical, high-quality veterinary care
