Job Description: Our client is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established regional practice offering a genuine blend of approximately 70% companion animal and 30% large animal work. The caseload includes beef cattle, sheep and equine patients alongside everyday small animal medicine and surgery, providing plenty of variety for a clinician who enjoys working across different species.
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with practical mentoring available for those wanting to strengthen their mixed-practice skills. Full-time is preferred, although part-time arrangements can also be considered, and there is optional exposure to dairy work for veterinarians interested in broadening their production animal experience.
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary qualification with eligibility for registration in New South Wales
- Around two or more years of experience preferred, although new graduates are welcome
- Interest or experience across both companion and large animal medicine
- Strong communication skills with a practical, team-focused approach
- Motivation to continue developing mixed-practice clinical capability
