Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time Mixed Animal Veterinarian with a particular interest in dairy medicine. The caseload is predominantly production animal work, supported by a varied selection of small animal consultations and treatments. This role is ideal for a capable veterinarian who enjoys rural practice, values trusted client relationships, and is comfortable managing cases independently.
The position offers exposure to dairy farming systems across the Tararua and lower Hawke’s Bay areas, alongside companion animal duties within the clinic. Working Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will also participate in a shared after-hours roster while contributing practical ideas and dependable veterinary support to the local community.
