Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Internal Medicine Specialist Veterinarian to join a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Los Angeles, California. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing advanced internal medicine cases within a busy specialty and emergency hospital
- Collaborating with specialists, emergency clinicians, interns, and support teams on complex cases
- Supporting diagnostic workups, treatment planning, case progression, and client communication
- Contributing to the teaching and mentorship of interns, externs, and clinical colleagues
- Building strong relationships with clients, referring veterinarians, and hospital teams
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Board certification or residency training in Internal Medicine
- Licensure in good standing, or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
- Strong communication, collaboration, and client relationship-building skills
- Commitment to high standards of medicine, ethics, teaching, and patient care
Package:
- Full-time Internal Medicine Specialist position
- Annual salary from $225,000 to $325,000, based on experience and credentials
