Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive referral and emergency centre offering advanced facilities and a collaborative clinical environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing multidisciplinary team within a modern, purpose-built hospital designed to support high-level specialist care.

You will manage a varied surgical caseload while working alongside experienced specialists across multiple disciplines. With access to advanced imaging and surgical equipment, you will be able to deliver complex procedures while contributing to the continued development of surgical services within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical procedures
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on complex referral cases
  • Managing surgical cases from consultation through to post-operative care
  • Utilising advanced diagnostic imaging to support surgical planning
  • Providing mentorship and clinical support to colleagues and support staff

Qualifications Needed:

  • Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Surgery
  • DVM or equivalent qualification with eligibility to practice in Michigan
  • Strong surgical and diagnostic skills within a referral setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining high clinical and ethical standards
