Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive referral and emergency centre offering advanced facilities and a collaborative clinical environment. You will manage a varied surgical caseload while working alongside experienced specialists across multiple disciplines. Responsibilities:
- Performing advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical procedures
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on complex referral cases
- Managing surgical cases from consultation through to post-operative care
- Utilising advanced diagnostic imaging to support surgical planning
- Providing mentorship and clinical support to colleagues and support staff
Qualifications Needed:
- Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Surgery
- DVM or equivalent qualification with eligibility to practice in Michigan
- Strong surgical and diagnostic skills within a referral setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical and ethical standards
