Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist to join an established emergency and specialty referral setting offering exceptional clinical resources and opportunities for professional development. This position is ideally suited to an experienced internist who enjoys investigating challenging medical conditions, delivering comprehensive specialist treatment and working closely with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. With a substantial referral caseload and more than 20 veterinary specialists across multiple disciplines, the role provides an excellent opportunity to practise advanced internal medicine within a supportive clinical environment.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of complex and chronic medical cases, undertake specialist consultations and perform advanced diagnostic procedures, including endoscopy and bronchoscopy. The position involves working across two clinical facilities alongside experienced emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and specialist colleagues. Ongoing investment in additional clinical space, MRI, fluoroscopy and developing specialty departments will further enhance diagnostic capabilities and opportunities for collaborative patient management.
