Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated large animal veterinarian to support farm and livestock health within a well-equipped veterinary hospital that also provides 24/7 emergency and general practice services. In this role you will work with a range of large species including cattle, sheep, goats, and other livestock, providing clinical care, herd health planning, and field-based consultations that promote animal welfare and productivity throughout the Riverina region.

You’ll participate in herd health initiatives, reproductive and medical care, on-farm emergency response, and consultative support tailored to rural and regional clients.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting field visits to assess and manage large animal health and production needs
- Performing herd health planning, preventive medicine, and reproductive evaluations
- Assisting with on-farm emergency and urgent large animal treatments
- Collaborating with farm clients to provide guidance on nutrition, disease prevention, and welfare
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent recognised in Australia
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in New South Wales
- Experience or strong interest in large animal and livestock clinical practice
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in field settings
