Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Farm Animal Vet to join a supportive farm-focused team in Cornwall. This role offers a varied caseload across dairy, beef, and sheep work, with the freedom to develop clinical interests while building strong relationships with progressive farming clients.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering farm veterinary care across dairy, beef, and sheep clients
- Building lasting relationships through regular client contact and advisory work
- Contributing to herd health planning, fertility work, and progressive farm services
- Working alongside experienced technical support to reduce routine testing pressure
- Sharing rota commitments fairly with protected time off after on-call duties
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registration is required
- Previous farm animal veterinary experience is essential
- Confident working with commercial livestock clients
- Strong communication skills and a practical advisory approach
- Interest in developing individual clinical or production animal specialisms
Package:
- Full-time permanent farm animal role
- Flexible working patterns considered for the right candidate
- Typical working hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Approximate 1:5 rota for most of the year
- Dedicated out-of-hours vet support reducing rota pressure
- Half-day provided after a night on call
- Full TOIL day after a worked weekend
- 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
- £1,750 CPD allowance provided for vets
- RCVS membership, VDS cover, and two additional memberships paid
