Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a busy companion animal team on a full-time basis. The role offers a varied first-opinion caseload and would suit a clinician with strong general practice skills who enjoys building lasting relationships with clients while maintaining consistently high standards of patient care.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with veterinary colleagues while also having the confidence to manage sole-charge shifts when required. Strong organisation, sound clinical judgement and a genuine desire to keep developing professionally will be important, alongside participation in the shared after-hours roster.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a varied companion animal caseload across consultations, diagnostics and treatment planning
- Provide confident clinical care during occasional sole-charge shifts
- Develop trusted relationships with clients through clear and professional communication
- Maintain efficient case management within a busy first-opinion environment
- Contribute to the shared after-hours service as part of the veterinary rota
