Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced farm animal veterinarian to take on a varied permanent, full-time position with a strong focus on deer health and production medicine. The successful candidate will manage an engaging caseload across deer, sheep, beef and dairy systems while receiving specialist guidance from a highly experienced senior deer veterinarian. This opportunity is suited to a practical and motivated clinician who enjoys preventative medicine, reproductive work, field procedures and developing trusted partnerships with farming clients.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing preventative health and production programmes for deer, sheep and cattle
- Carrying out reproductive scanning across beef and deer herds
- Investigating disease concerns and recommending practical on-farm solutions
- Completing clinical and surgical procedures in field and clinic environments
- Participating in the shared after-hours roster for urgent livestock cases
