Job Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Equine Associate Veterinarian to join a highly respected equine practice ahead of the 2026 breeding season. This opportunity offers the chance to work with some of Australia’s leading thoroughbred stud farms while becoming part of a collaborative and experienced equine veterinary team delivering high standards of reproductive and ambulatory care.

The role can be tailored according to experience, ranging from supported stud work alongside senior veterinarians through to more independent management of large breeding operations. You will work across a varied caseload including reproductive medicine, stud farm services, diagnostic imaging, and potentially yearling sales or racetrack work, within one of Australia’s premier equine regions.

Qualifications Needed:  

  • Veterinary degree with eligibility for registration in New South Wales  
  • Experience in equine reproductive and stud farm veterinary practice  
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills  
  • Diagnostic imaging experience beneficial  
  • Interest in sales, yearling, or racetrack work advantageous
