Job Description: Our client is seeking a passionate equine veterinarian to join a dedicated team providing broad equine veterinary services across Queensland. You will support horse owners and caregivers with preventive health planning, internal medicine, reproductive services, surgical care, and dental treatments in a practice that values professional excellence and practical client support.
This role will allow you to work closely with team members and clients to deliver comprehensive equine care extending from routine wellness visits to advanced reproductive and surgical procedures, all while contributing to strong clinical outcomes and meaningful owner relationships.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting equine health assessments, vaccinations, and individualized care plans
- Managing reproductive services including breeding evaluations and semen handling
- Assisting with equine dentistry, lameness assessment, and soft tissue procedures
- Collaborating with owners to educate and guide on preventive health strategies
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent recognised in Australia
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in Queensland
- Proficiency in equine clinical medicine and surgical procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse clients
