The practice is dedicated exclusively to the care and treatment of thoroughbred racehorses, providing comprehensive veterinary services to elite equine athletes. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing preventative and performance-based care for thoroughbred racehorses
- Conducting lameness evaluations and diagnostic workups
- Developing treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Maintaining accurate medical records and regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with trainers, owners, and veterinary colleagues
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) or equivalent degree
- Eligible for or currently licensed to practice in Maryland
- Strong interest in equine and performance horse medicine
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
