  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, clinicians, and hospital staff.
  • Leadership skills with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
  • Understanding of veterinary hospital operations and financial performance would be advantageous.
  • Commitment to ethical decision-making and compassionate patient care.
  • Ability to manage physically demanding clinical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Dedication to ongoing education and the development of others.

Package:

  • Medical Director stipend in addition to the base salary.
  • Signing and retention incentives available up to $75,000.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Continuing education allowance with access to career development resources.
  • Paid parental leave covering birth, adoption, and foster placement.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with discretionary employer contributions.
  • Team member discounts on veterinary care.
  • Access to 24-hour employee assistance and emotional wellbeing support.
  • Calm app membership provided.
  • Financial hardship support through an employee relief fund.
  • Clinical autonomy within a well-supported emergency hospital.
  • Opportunities to grow as a medical leader and develop the wider veterinary team.
