Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-level Emergency & Critical Care Specialist Veterinarian to join a multidisciplinary referral and emergency team delivering advanced care for high-acuity small animal cases. You will contribute specialist expertise to a robust critical care service that collaborates with internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, and other specialties to provide leading-edge support for complex patients. 

In this role you’ll lead and mentor within the intensive care environment, helping improve outcomes for pets facing life-threatening conditions and supporting the growth of the emergency care service. This is an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a team of passionate clinicians who value clinical excellence, professional development, and thoughtful case management.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing board-level emergency and intensive care support for critical cases  
  • Mentoring and leading other emergency clinicians and trainees  
  • Collaborating with specialists across departments for multidisciplinary care  
  • Consulting with referring veterinarians and guiding complex case strategies

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree registrable in Australia and eligibility for WA veterinary registration  
  • Board certification (ACVECC / ECVECC) or board eligible status in Emergency & Critical Care  
  • Demonstrated leadership and advanced critical care clinical skills  
  • Excellent communication, mentorship, and collaborative abilities
