Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-certified, board-eligible or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist to join a highly regarded emergency and specialty referral setting undergoing significant clinical expansion. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinician passionate about advanced emergency and critical care medicine, complex patient management and collaborative specialist practice. Working alongside more than 20 specialists across multiple disciplines, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of an expanding intensive care service while providing exceptional treatment for critically ill and hospitalised patients.
The position offers exposure to challenging emergency presentations, advanced intensive care procedures and multidisciplinary case discussions, supported by experienced emergency veterinarians, specialist colleagues and highly trained veterinary technicians. Planned facility developments include expanded intensive care capacity, MRI, fluoroscopy and additional specialist departments, creating exciting opportunities for clinical progression. Teaching and mentorship are integral to the role, with opportunities to support veterinary interns, residents and nursing professionals through structured clinical education.
