Job Description: Our client is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Criticalist to take an integral role within a busy specialty and emergency setting. This opportunity centres on the management of critically ill and medically complex patients, supported by sophisticated diagnostic and treatment capabilities including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, in-house laboratory testing and rehabilitation services.
The position offers extensive collaboration with specialists across surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology and dermatology, alongside experienced emergency clinicians and technical professionals. There is also an opportunity to contribute to the continued development of critical care services and take on additional leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or VMD qualification from an accredited veterinary institution
- Completion of a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care
- Completion of a three-year AVMA-approved residency program in the relevant specialty
- Current state veterinary license and maintained DEA registration
- Board certification preferred, with two to five years of post-residency experience considered advantageous
