Job Details: Do you enjoy consult only work? Our client have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Consulting Only Veterinary Surgeon to join their team here on a permanent basis. The main duties of your role would include routine consultations, triage patients and hand over to emergency team and dispense repeat prescriptions and written prescriptions. The role will be working across their smaller branch surgeries many of which are in village locations with a great client base, if however, you would prefer to work solely in just one of these branches this could be accommodated. If you are a team player, with great communication skills and are committed to providing excellent care to their patients and clients this might be perfect for you.

The vets work between the hours of 8am – 7.30pm, with full time staff usually working 36 hours over 4 days however they understand how important a good work/life balance is, so they welcome applications from those wanting part-time hours or anything in between. There is also a share of 1:6 in the Saturday rota, with a full day given back the following week.
There are good transport links to London and Norwich has a host of sporting and social events to enjoy in your
time off. They are a progressive first opinion practice with excellent facilities including CT scanner, and all the usual toys including dental x-ray. They are in the process of accepting local referrals in feline internal medicine, CT scanning, and TPLOs.
As well as an experienced team of Vets they are supported by a team of excellent Registered Veterinary Nurses. They are a training practice currently supporting Student Registered Veterinary Nurses and one of their receptionists
is training to become an Animal Nursing Assistant via the DWR academy. The support team consists of exceptional Receptionists, Admin, and Maintenance/Cleaning Staff along with their Practice Director who is continually working alongside their Clinical Directors to improve the practice.
