Job Details: We have an unmissable opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join our clients friendly and welcoming team, based in the West Midlands.
The team consists of 4 Client Care Advisors, 1 Practice Administrator, 1 part time Registered Vet Nurse, 3 regular long-term locum Registered Nurses and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants.
They are looking for a vet with great communication skills with clients and colleagues alike. You’ll have good general surgical and medical skills and be confident in all routine surgeries as well as being comfortable with sole charge at times. However, if you’re a new graduate, as an RCVS approved graduate development workplace, our clients team welcome applications from you too and would be happy to mentor and support you.
This role is full time working 42 hours per week including 1 in 2 Saturdays. You’re guaranteed either a Tuesday or a Thursday off each week and your weekly hours will be reduced when you work the Saturday. Consults are a standard 20 minutes long, along with first vaccines whilst rechecks and boosters are 10 minutes. They understand the importance of a work/life balance and so they make sure there is time in the diary to do reports and admin work.
