Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a close-knit and well-respected practice that has served the local community for over two decades. The practice is set in a picturesque area with modern facilities, offering a healthy blend of village charm and high-quality clinical care. This position would suit a vet looking for a well-supported role with a genuine work-life balance and limited weekend commitments.
The ideal candidate will be confident in routine procedures and general consultations. Newly qualified vets are also encouraged to apply, and they will benefit from enhanced support, including mentorship and a structured introduction to practice. The role consists of a varied caseload including consultations, surgery, and diagnostics. Routine appointment times are structured to allow thorough care, with built-in admin time to reduce stress. The candidate will work 4 days per week and contribute to Saturday mornings on a shared rota.
