Job Details: Our clients are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join their team on a Part-Time basis!
The role of a part time Veterinary Surgeon involves consulting and routine operations and procedures. The position is two days a week 9am-5pm. Consultations are 15 minutes long with extra time given for more complex cases. The vet is always supported by a fully qualified nurse, and they have ultrasound/ full lab and monitoring equipment. Clients are friendly and there is a family feel about the practice. The role is sole charge but there is full support only 15 minutes away at the main practice.
They are a small animal practice with full Idexx lab, ultrasound machine and monitoring equipment and use of digital x-rays, dental x-rays, tonopen and k-laser.
They are a very supportive practice, and they strive to provide the best care for their clients. They have many long-standing staff, and they support each other with both clinical and surgical cases and share clinical knowledge. They encourage CPD and career progression.
Ideally the candidate needs to be confident with routine surgical procedures and basic ultrasound and have excellent communication and people skills and enjoy the variety and diversity of small animal practice. They require the candidate to have experience in small animal practice and be able to work up cases to provide a high standard of care.
