Type of Work: Small Animal Vet Surgeon
Job Details: Our client are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their small animal team. You will have a mix of consults & surgery, you will be supported by their team of experienced Vets and Nurses. Ideally, you will have an interest in medicine and orthopaedics. Certificate qualifications are encouraged, and funded. They care for all small animals, equine, wildlife and exotics.
This is a full time role, working a four or five day week between 8.30am and 6.30pm however part time options can also be considered. They are flexible on rota and would be keen to discuss the ideal rota for you. Saturday Morning will be required on a 1 in 4 rota, giving you access to an emergency caseload too. The practice is situated in the beautiful countryside near Frome, (Named the Sunday Times, Best Place to Live in the South West) bordering Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset – a great location for a rural weekend escape and also close to Bristol Airport for breaks further afield. They have been established since 2006 and have a very well-equipped practice with DR X-ray, a brand-new, high-quality ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, Multiparameter unit, Tonometry, Laser, Orthopaedic kit and much more. You will see a variation of routine, preventative, and more advanced cases during your working week.
