Job Details: Our clients are a growing, young practice with great facilities, a friendly team, and a passion for delivering great care for their patients. They would love to employ you as an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join on a full or part time permanent basis.
Our clients standalone practice has been open for 4 years and they aim to provide gold standard medicine and soft tissue surgery for the pets entrusted to their care. They strongly believe in providing all their patients the care they would want for their own pet. Being the best practice whenever they can and referring whenever appropriate.
They only treat mammalian pets, focusing on getting the best outcomes across a range of client budgets. They have a fully kitted operating theatre, large prep area, x-ray and ultrasound facilities.
The job has no on call, no out of hours, and just one Saturday morning in 3. They are aiming to recruit one full time (20-40 hours per week), or two part time vets to support a growing caseload.
You will be joining a friendly team made up of 2 Vets, 3 RVN’s, 1 Practice Manager and 3 Client Care Advisors, which includes the two practice owners.
You will have confidence in all aspects of the role including consults and surgery and will work well alongside the other vets and the nursing team to provide the highest quality of animal care to their clients. In addition, you will have excellent customer service and communication skills, be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
