Small Animal Vet Surgeon Job, Nottinghamshire, England

Small Animal Vet Surgeon Job, Nottinghamshire, England

Job Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients friendly and supportive team based in Nottinghamshire!

This role can adjust to fit your career aspirations. If you want to learn more about practice management, they can help you, but equally if you prefer to concentrate on building the services you enjoy, they can help with that too.

Building and maintaining your client base will be a key element of your responsibilities. You will have autonomy for your cases plus the full support of their hospital facilities and expert knowledge from the first opinion day and night teams and the referral services.

With proven experience of small animal care, you will have a good working knowledge of core clinical procedures and will provide excellent client care. Their customers come back to them again and again because they know they care. There will be some sole charge work at this practice, so you will need to be confident in making decisions.

The practice provides the ideal working environment to progress and develop further. They actively encourage and support CPD across all roles, with a number of team members holding or working towards certificates.

The role is full time, working an average of 38 hours over 4 days per week but they will be flexible and consider part time/job share – the most important thing is finding the right person for their team!

They offer their own out-of-hours service and have a dedicated experienced night team. You will take part in their weekend rota which works out as 1:4 Saturday Mornings at a local practice and 1:8 Sundays at their hospital with time off in lieu the next week. Admin time is factored into the week to make sure you can stay on top of paperwork.

Do you want to work in a purpose-built practice, with all the latest equipment and play a key role in the direction of your practice? If so, our clients can offer this at their Practice in Nottinghamshire. They are looking for a Vet to join the practice and help them to grow it to its full potential. Full training and support will always be available.

All their practices are RCVS approved and have well-equipped facilities including imaging and full surgical facilities plus onsite laboratory. They also have separate dog and cat wards to make sure they can keep their patients comfortable if they need to stay with us. They offer 15-minute Vet and Nurse consults.

Their flexible approach to rota patterns can truly enrich your work life balance. They know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and they want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. Whether you need to do the school pick up, need reduced hours during school holidays or would simply like a more flexible rota pattern they can fix or flex their patterns to suit you

Due to their current vet moving home, they are now looking for a brand-new team member to help them to continue to offer this fantastic service to the local area. Their practice has been open since 2019 and is well established in their local area with regular clients.

Within the practice, you will be supported by a team of friendly and well-trained Client Care Assistants (CCAs), Practice Nurse, Trainee Nurse and Veterinary Care Assistant. You will work closely together each day, enabling you to build a close bond both with team members, patients and clients.

They have a close-knit vet team who value the importance of supporting each other and sharing their knowledge to ensure they provide the best possible care to their patients.
