Job Details: An exciting opportunity has become available at our clients practice, they are seeking their final Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-equipped first opinion, small animal practice in Kent.

The daily workload includes a variety of first opinion consultations and surgery whilst being involved in clinical governance, mentoring/coaching of other vets, clinical staff and also liaising with the Practice Manager.

Full time offers 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, they like to give you the option! The shifts can be flexible depending on potential candidate requirements and include 1:4 weekends (Saturday & Sunday). There are no out of hours with this role to promote a healthy work life balance.

Our clients are a group of 3 small animal branches in Kent and they are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Vet to work at their busy practice. They have excellent facilities such as, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and brand-new in-house lab with a well-established team of friendly staff at all of their branches.

They have a long-standing team of 4 Vets, 3 RVN, 1 SVN, 2 ANA and 5 support staff working across their 3 sites. The Vets interests vary from medicine, orthopaedic surgery, ultrasound. They also have a Vet with a GP certificate in Cardiac Ultrasound. They encourage their Nurses to use their skills and knowledge within practice through nurse clinics, advising clients about their pet’s health and welfare and supporting the Vet team.

They have a supportive ethos where they truly value each other. They industry is not always easy, so they like to make sure they support each other through the day to day with positivity, encouragement, and warmth. They are very much a community-based group and often get involved in a vast array of community events.

They are asking that their new Vet is experienced in small animal medicine and surgery. They expect good communication skills and confidence with clients. A positive, can-do attitude is also important along with being able to work as part of a friendly busy team.
