Job Details: Our client is seeking an experienced RCVS registered veterinary surgeon to join their professional but friendly and fun team based in Essex. The JVP is keen to offer support to all of the team alongside promoting clinical freedom and the opportunity to work up cases to a high standard.
They are a veterinary nursing training practice and have their RCVS practice standards accreditation. Their spacious surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray and high spec ultrasound. They have 3 consultation rooms, dedicated operating theatre, lab area, prep room and separate dog, cat and isolation wards.
The current team consists of 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs, 3 receptionists and a practice manager and admin team. They are hugely supportive of each other and take pride in the strong relationships they have built, and continue to build, with our large and loyal client base.
The full time rota is an average of 40 hours per week, consisting of 4 weekdays per week, 9am – 7pm, and across other opening times. They are open 9am – 6pm on Saturdays and 10.30am – 4pm on Sundays, week day lieu days are provided for the weekend shifts.
There are no OOH duties or on call with this role, allowing you to enjoy an excellent work/life balance.
This is a full time or part time role. They are happy to be flexible with hours and shift patterns for candidates looking for part time work, but engagement in the weekend rota will be required.
