Job Details: Our clients are looking for a Small Animal Vet to join their team based in Edinburgh & The Lothians, on a fixed term 12 month contract.
Their brilliantly supportive, skilled and kind reception and nursing team provide excellent care for their clients and patients alike. They really make the job of being a vet a whole lot easier!
Each member of the veterinary team is open, approachable and conscientious, with differing interests and expertise. Engaging in case discussions with the whole clinical team is actively encouraged. Professional development is promoted throughout the practice so you can develop your clinical skills according to your likes and interests.
Most of the vets in their team have young families and so they know how important it is to get the right work/life balance, which is why they all come together to help each other when it’s one of ‘those’ days. They are also a team who knows how to unwind, celebrate those successes, and enjoy getting together over a few drinks or even a late-night karaoke session every so often.
A 4-day week (full-time) with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning shift (or pro-rata) and no OOH. The main site is well-equipped with a dental suite including x-ray, digital x-ray, new Chison ultrasound machine and in-house lab. They are also proud to be rabbit welfare accredited (Silver) and feline friendly.
