Job Details: Our client based in County Claire are a 100% small animal independent clinic. They are currently a team of three vets, three veterinary nurses and two support staff. Their purpose built facility offers a bright and spacious working environment with two consultation rooms, prep room, x-ray room, surgical theatre, dog kennels, cat ward, isolation ward and a staff canteen. They have digital radiography, Idexx biochemistry and haematology analysers and a full dental suite including digital dental radiography. They have a varied and interesting case load with a great client base who are receptive to gold standard recommendations for their pet’s care. They are located in the lovely vibrant town with the beautiful coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way right on their doorstep they aim to offer not only a fun and fulfilling place to work, but a great work life balance to be able to enjoy all that the west of Ireland has to offer. Limerick 20min away.
Responsibilities
-They are looking for someone with at least three years of small animal experience
-Confidence to fully work up medicine cases
-Confident with all routine surgeries
-Great communication skills with clients
-Able to handle occasional sole charge
-They would welcome anyone with a specific interest or advanced qualifications
Package:
4 day week and 1:2 Saturdays
No on call
VCI/VDS and CPD allowance.
€1000 CPD budget and 2 day CPD allowance
