Job Details: Due to a valued member of our clients Vet team leaving for their dream job, they are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team based in Central Scotland, on a full-time or part time permanent basis.
They have a wonderful, friendly, longstanding team and they warmly welcome any new members to their veterinary family. As a team, they all support each other, and endeavour to create a happy, constructive and supportive working environment focusing on the importance of a good work life balance and mental health support. The team are all passionate, dedicated veterinary professionals who pride themselves on offering high standards of care while identifying areas to further improve. Currently, they are working towards becoming an RCVS accredited, ISFM cat friendly and RWAF rabbit friendly practice.
Their team consists of two vets with over thirty-four years’ experience between them, who are happy to mentor and pass on their knowledge in a supportive and constructive way. You will also be supported by an experienced Head RVN/Joint Venture Partner, one FT RVN, one PT Veterinary Care Assistant, two Client Care Advisors and a supportive Practice Manager. They are also currently recruiting for another RVN to join their team. In addition, they have a great relationship with their Area Relationship Manager (ARM) who is always on hand for extra support and advice.
As a JVP led practice they have the clinical freedom to work in a way that is best for them and their team. They hold regular team meetings and 1:1s to make sure all team members get the chance to impact ‘how we do things,’ and to give the opportunity to focus on development, both individual and how they move forward as a practice.
They offer full or part time hours and are happy to discuss a rota that is flexible to your commitments, whether that be weekend only, childcare friendly, full or half days or whatever you require to achieve the work life balance you need. They are open 8:30am to 7pm weekdays, 9am to 5pm Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sundays with a current 1 in 2 weekend rota- extending to 1 in 3.

By joining them you will be part of a dynamic team, whose main clinical focus is on preventive health, and they pride themselves on their excellent client care and pet welfare standards. It is essential that you have the same values and high standards as their current team.
