Small Animal Senior Vet Surgeon Job, Nottinghamshire, England

Small Animal Senior Vet Surgeon Job, Nottinghamshire, England

Job Details: Our clients are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, based in Nottinghamshire to join their expanding, fast paced team of small animal practitioners.

You will ideally be a senior veterinary surgeon who is looking for the ‘next step’ into a senior leadership position, or alternatively looking for a supportive surgery to continue to develop yourself long term.

Their team prides themselves on always providing the highest level of care- to both patients and customers alike, and as a result they have grown their client base extensively!

The practice boasts bright, spacious and modern facilities. This includes their in-house digital x-ray, labs, separate wards- for dogs, cats and rabbits to name a few. They are proud to have their own laparoscopy equipment, and this enables us to have the capacity to regularly perform laparoscopic spays and cystoscopy.

The current team consists of 6 veterinary surgeons all with a huge range of experience. Many of their surgeons hold (or are working towards) certificates and this includes an ECC cert, Medical Cert, Laparoscopy and Surgical cert. As a result, they have a huge variety in terms of caseloads each day and you would have the opportunity to work within this fast-paced environment.

Their surgeons work alongside a fantastic team of dedicated RVNs with a team size of 6 and a knowledgeable support team of 7 receptionists. Their focus is excellent client care, with their main priority on pet welfare standards whilst enjoying working in a team environment with likeminded individuals. So, if you are a confident vet who is looking for a care driven, varied and team focused surgery- then they would love to hear from you!

This role is full time (40 hours per week) with a 1 in 5 weekend rota (Saturday 9am-3pm & Sunday 10am-4pm.) No OOH.

If you share our clients passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare, great customer service and would like to join their team we would love to hear from you!

Package:

  • Excellent career opportunities, with support for long term development (including certificates)
  • Varied caseloads day to day
  • Generous salary and package commensurate with experience
  • Contributory Pension scheme
  • Paid memberships (RCVS and VDS)
  • Generous CPD budget
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards
