Salary: Up to £28,000, Depending on Experience

Job Details: Our Client are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team. The current nursing team is led by a highly experienced Head Nurse.
A day in the life of a nurse as part of this team (other than the consuming of cakes and ice cream) ultimately depends on the 4 assigned areas in practice – Theatre, Kennels, Prep, and Consultation. From this, your day will be varied and allow for as much clinical exposure as possible.
This is a full or part-time position, meaning our client can be flexible on your working days/times. The shifts are combined with earlies and lates, the latest finish being 7.30pm and earliest being 8am. There are no OOHs duties or weekend cover other than 8am-2pm on a 1:4 rota for Saturday mornings, allowing for an excellent work/life balance.
The practice is situated in the beautiful South Downs, just a stones throw away from the coast and London, giving you the best of both worlds. The practice is an hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick Airport allowing for close transport links to Europe and beyond. They have recently had their kennels refurbished, having a separate dog and cat ward allowing for improved patient welfare. They have lots of toys, to name a few, digital x-ray, a multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure, microscope, in-house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, ultrasound with cardiac and an abdominal probe, laser, ECG, endoscope and tonometer.

The practice look after the residents of a local Cats Protection Adoption Centre, meaning there is not a week that goes by without a kitten cuddle.
Skills and Requirements: Our Client welcome all levels of post qualification experience fort this role. However, they hope that you will be kind, considerate, have high energy, a positive can-do attitude, be happy to use your initiative, and use time and resources effectively. You will have good interpersonal skills with a passion on all aspects of general nursing. You will instinctively want to go that extra mile to provide the best care to your patients.
