Our client are currently looking for a team focus registered veterinary nurse, with a passion for working with high standards whilst in a busy (but enjoyable!) first opinion practice. You will have the opportunity to thrive in an independent practice environment and enjoy the benefits, support network and stability of a large, successful business.They have a large loyal client base, with a huge variety of patients!
They ensure that all their nurses are given the opportunity to develop in terms of your experience, whilst, also being able to use your nursing skills to their full potential, doing nurse consults, 2nd vacs, post op checks, bandage changes, weight clinics to name a few. They encourage their nurses to work to their full capabilities, and support with further progression – both practically and through CPD.
Their clinic is bright, spacious and market leading equipment to match. Their current team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 RVNs, 1 SVN, 4 CCAs and an experienced support team.
The ideal candidate will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. This a full time position, based on 40 hours a week (spread across 5 days, varying between 8.30 am – 7 pm) with a shared weekend rota of just 1 in 3 Saturdays (9 am – 4 pm). There is no OOH.
They are looking for the right individual to join their care driven team, and as a result they will also consider part time applications. Having a work/life balance is important to their team and they always will ensure they are protecting this.
