Small Animal Registered Vet Nurse Job, Cheshire, England

Salary: 25,000 (one years experience) and above, Depending on Experience
Package:

4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
550 CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD Leave
RCVS VDS fees paid

Job Details:Our Client have an exciting opportunity for a part-time RVN to join their friendly team in Cheshire. This is a part-time role working a 20 hour week over 2 days between 8am – 8pm, however with working hours they can be flexible.
The role requires working 1:7 Saturdays from 9am-5pm which will be paid as overtime. They are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays plus there will be no OOHs required for this role.
This is a friendly, customer service focused practice located in the beautiful Cheshire Countryside. Close to Chester, Liverpool, and the M56 Motorway, they attract clients from far and wide. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab with Idexx Lasercyte, Catalyst and Snapshot. This is an extremely busy practice with a large client base with nearly 2,000 pets on their Pet Health Club.
Whether on ward, surgery, admitting and discharging patients, nurse clinics or assisting the vets in prep/consult, your day will be challenging but enjoyable. Our Client pride themselves on patient and customer care and supporting the reception team is essential by answering the telephone and assisting with customer queries.
The current team consists of 7 Vets (6 FTand 1 PT), 5 RVNs (3 FT 1 PT) and 2 ANAs (both FT). They pride themselves on their high standard of patient and client care and will always try to go that extra mile to help and support other members of the team, clients, and patients alike.
Skills and Experience:The ideal person will be an experienced RVN, preferably with a small animal background, who is comfortable with all aspects of veterinary nursing and will be confident dealing with clients on a regular basis. Our Client are looking for someone with a passion for patient and client care, who can multitask with ease and is flexible in day-to-day responsibilities.
