Type of Work: Locum Veterinary Surgeon, Full-Time or Part-Time
Job Details: Our Client, based near Glasgow, are looking for a locum veterinary surgeon to start with them ASAP to work at their vaccination clinic. This can be on a part time basis and you can choose which days to work. Hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm with an hour set aside for lunch each day. A dedicated ACA is provided as they do not have clients in the vaccination building at present.
They are a 18 vet, very friendly, RCVS accredited mixed practice. They are only a 5 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport and 20 minute drive from Loch Lomond. Beautiful area with stunning scenery to visit on your days off!
They have excellent facilities, including fully equipped lab with the latest haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring equipment, ultrasound scanners, digital radiography and dental x-ray machine, endoscope and the latest dental machine, instruments and equipment.
The team enjoy monthly visits from a cardiorespiratory specialist and a diagnostic imager attends fortnightly. They have their own ophthalmologist certificate holder and acupuncturist. The computer system is linked between branches, allowing patient continuity. They have a very friendly, competent and supportive team of nurses, receptionists and animal care assistants.
