Job Details: Our client is looking a small animal Clinical Director to join their team. They would like someone who has a flexible and adaptable approach with a commitment to gold standards of care. You must have a passion for pets and excellent animal handling skills. It is important that you can work as part of a team. Full or part-time hours will be considered.
Your day-to-day duties involve delivering personalized, professional, and dedicated care to your patients and their owners. This includes handling and treating all animals that come to your clinic, conducting regular consultations with pet owners, and performing routine surgeries when necessary. You rely on evidence-based diagnoses and therapies to determine the best course of treatment for each animal. Additionally, you provide follow-up care and educate pet owners on how to properly care for their pets. In some cases, you may need to work confidently as a sole practitioner in the clinic, taking full responsibility for the care of animals and making critical decisions when required.
The clinic has a separate sterile surgery, a separate imaging room, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, IM3 dental, Bair Hugger equipment and they are accredited with Stress Free Handling.
