Job Details:  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Director to join our clients
friendly, forward-thinking team at based in Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will lead the team into the future
along with their driven practice manager and be responsible for both the clinical and financial performance of the practice. You will also have access to area support from both the practice manager and their Area Support Manager, and their Area Director.

Day to day you will undertake a clinical role including surgery and consultations with a varied caseload. You would also be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team and setting clinical objectives to achieve best practice in patient and client care. Administrative duties would include line management of the veterinary team and driving the financial success and growth of the practice alongside the practice manager.

They are ideally seeking a full-time candidate, however, flexible working will be considered. The full-time rota will consist in working a 40hr week spread over 4 or 5 days with a flexible shift pattern. The out-of-hours are covered
by a third party company.

They are a busy small animal town practice, with a progressive attitude that takes pride in the high standards of care that they provide. The nursing team, led by their Head Nurse, is particularly keen on pain management and
local anaesthesia techniques and is happy to share this with any future colleagues! They have recently invested in dental x-ray and a new dental suite, alongside the usual gadgets such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, tonopen,
multiparameter monitoring equipment, blood haematology and biochemistry, bair huggers and blood pressure machines.

They are in the process of building their clinical team but have the potential and facilities to become a 3 full-time vet practice and the right candidate would be an integral part of this. They have a motivated and proactive nursing
team, consisting of 2 registered veterinary nurses (soon to be 3), 2 student veterinary nurses and 2 veterinary care assistants who provide a high level of support and are confident with schedule 3 procedures and consulting. They also have a full reception team who help provide a high level of client care.

Candidates must have current MRCVS registration and they welcome applications from certificate holders. The ideal candidate would have previous experience of leading a team while driving financial performance, however, this is not essential as support and training will be provided to the right candidate.

• Private Medical Insurance
• Cycle to Work scheme
