Job Details:
Our client is looking for a Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This clinic is co-located within an already existing retail
store creating a network of highly engaged and committed pet owners which
reflects the driven work-ethic and passion of their team. The clinic has a
separate sterile surgery, a separate imaging room, digital x-ray, dental
x-ray, IM3 dental, Bair Hugger equipment and they are accredited with Stress
Free Handling.
They are in a vibrant family friendly suburb of Perth, located only 20 km from
Perth’s CBD. The developed city suburb is perfect for a family lifestyle as
well as single professionals with a range of local excelling primary and
secondary schools, sports and recreational facilities, cafes, restaurants and
retail outlets.
**What you’ll be doing each day**
* Delivering personalised, professional and dedicated care to their patients and owners
* Handling and treating all animals
* Regular consults and routine surgery
* Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment
* Providing follow-up care and education of their pet owners
* Confidently working as a sole practitioner in the clinic when required
**Qualifications**
* A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to gold standards of care
* Passion for pets (naturally), with excellent animal handling skills
* Registration or eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia
* Exceptional organisational, communication and customer service skills
* Interest in, and commitment to, working in a team environment
