Jobs Details: This Animal Hospital has been serving the community of Cape Breton for over 40 years. A true natural beauty, Sydney is a charming harbour town located in Cape Breton, filled with outdoor adventure, scenic drives, highland scenery and breath-taking coastal views. You and your furry friends are welcome in their hospital where the outstanding 2 doctor and 4 technician team will provide you with all of the support you need. They understand the importance of pets in your lives, and they strive to provide the highest quality of medicine and surgery in a compassionate and caring atmosphere with the latest technologies and equipment. They were the first in Cape Breton to computerize their patient files and purchase complete in-house diagnostic equipment from IDEXX. In addition, they provided the first direct digital radiology service in all of Atlantic Canada. Locally, they are the only provider of cold laser physiotherapy and laser surgery. In 2006, they were the Atlantic Regional Winner of the Veterinarian Team Appreciation Award presented by Bayer Health Care and Pets Magazine. The facilities include 3 examination rooms and a comfort room. Today, they are looking for an experienced Veterinarian to join their team. The ideal candidate is a driven, dependable and dedicated team-member with a strong work ethic.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Nova Scotia

  • Passion for what you do every day

  • Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are a must

  • A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients

  • Excellent communication skills, both when dealing with clients and team members.
