Job Details:
The Associate Veterinarian will perform physical exams, diagnose and treat medical conditions, conduct surgeries, and prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols and best practices. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and follow-up care.They may also provide guidance and mentorship to veterinary technicians and other team members to maintain high standards of care.
The are currently open Mondays – Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- They must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California or eligible to obtain licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and staff.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle a diverse caseload, and make sound medical decisions is required.
- Experience with small animal medicine and surgery is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
