Job Details: This Animal Hospital is welcoming a full-time Veterinarian that is interested in taking their career in a rewarding new direction as a mobile DVM. They’re looking to fill this position to continue to build their reputation for world-class veterinary service! They’ve got a hands-on training program to learn the ins and outs of mobile care and you’ll have an amazing support team there to help every step of the way.

 The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have minimum of 2 year’s experience in practicing veterinary medicine

  • Be a Fully Licensed Vet in Alberta, registered in good standing with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association

  • Be knowledgeable of the Calgary area and be comfortable driving in the city

  • Comfortable and experienced working with dogs and cats of all types, sizes, and temperaments which may include anxious, fearful or aggressive animals

  • Able to work independently with lots of remote team support, remain on schedule and on time, and to properly manage your time and priorities throughout the day

  • Confidence in making a diagnosis and carrying out treatment plans

  • Love to work with both people and pets, and take pride in making a difference

  • Must be flexible – they are not in the controlled setting of a clinic, so you’ll need to be able to adapt to the situation and be creative to get the job done without getting anxious or flustered
