Job Details: Our client is looking for a Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic has a separate sterile surgery, a separate imaging room, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, IM3 dental, Bair Hugger equipment and they are accredited with Stress Free Handling. Your day to day duties will involve delivering personalised, professional and dedicated care to their patients and owners through handling and treating all animals. You will perform Regular consults and routine surgery using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment. You will provide follow-up care and education of their pet owners.
The practice is located in a retail store creating a network of highly engaged and committed pet owners which reflects the driven work-ethic and passion of their team. The developed city suburb is perfect for a family lifestyle as well as single professionals with a range of local excelling primary and secondary schools, sports and recreational facilities, cafes, restaurants and retail outlets.
It is important that you can work sole charge if required. Full pr part-time hours will be considered.
You will: Have a flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to gold standards of care. Have a passion for pets (naturally), with excellent animal handling skills. Be able to register or be eligible for veterinary registration in Australia.
