Job Details: Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their team. They are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to perform a mixture of surgery and consultations in general practice. The position is a 4 day working week with a share of Saturdays with the overall working hours not exceeding 40 hours per week. They offer full support from experienced Veterinary Surgeons for a recent graduate or career progression/certificate funding for more experienced candidate.
They are a reputable, well-established 2-3 Vet practice within the larger Veterinary Group. They have a family friendly feel with low staff turnover. Staff outings, rewards, lunch breaks adhered to and monthly wellbeing team building periods. They are in a great location with good links to Birmingham and Wolverhampton as well as good airport links.
The team is made up of experienced Vets with interest/cert studying in Surgery, Medicine and Ophthalmology. Lockwood Veterinary group also has further cert holders in Surgery, Exotics and Imaging. Good ratio of RVNs also with cert holders in ECC and Feline Medicine. They have well equipped practices including full surgery, digital radiography, in-house lab, ultrasound and dental equipment in all surgeries.
You may be newly qualified or have a wealth of experience to bring to the role as a Vet. The successful applicant will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive and organised with good communication skills. You will be a supportive team player with a high standard of patient care, you will also have a client focused approach.
