Job Details:Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their team.They are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Vet with the desire to work to a high clinical standard. Experience is preferred, but they are also keen to hear from recent graduates looking to take the next step in their career. Support will be provided by Senior staff to less experienced candidates. They encourage Vets to work up their own cases wherever possible and hope to introduce regular case discussion sessions giving clinical staff the opportunity to share their experience and knowledge.
They are happy to consider full time, part time or flexible arrangements. The working pattern is typically a 4-day week and 1:4 Saturday mornings with no out of hours. The rota allows for a great work/life balance.The modern purpose-built practice is fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. They have a supportive team of registered and student nurses, animal nursing assistants and support staff.

Located on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, they are close to the sea, boasting some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country, yet only 15 miles from the city of Norwich. The local area is diverse with many lovely walks, lots of wildlife and the chance to partake in water-based activities including stand up paddle boarding, sailing, and kayaking.
They currently have a very friendly supportive, close-knit team of 2 Senior Veterinary Surgeons, 3 qualified Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 3 Animal Nursing Assistants and 6 reception/admin staff.
The successful candidate will be a caring and enthusiastic Vet with the desire to work to a high clinical standard. Communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team are paramount. You will need to be MRCVS registered and able to work in the UK. CPD is encouraged and funded.
